Welcome to our Get Set – Leeds online meeting. Our meetings are open and friendly and are a great way for businesses to connect and grow.  Each meeting lasts for a maximum of 60 minutes is designed to be both engaging and productive allowing all attendees the chance to introduce themselves over a 45 seconds round, set up 121 meetings, and learn from guest speakers.

Our online meetings are hosted by one of our event partner hosts who are local business owners in the community. Event hosts help keep the meeting moving at a steady pace and support both members and visitors’ before, during, and after the meeting to help businesses connect. We offer both a ‘PayAsYouGo’ as well as a full membership service helping businesses fix their costs.

Welcome to The Business Growth Network’s online events ‘Get Set – Leeds.’ We have evolved and adapted our networking events to offer a hybrid of online and face2face meetings for now and the future. The current pandemic has meant businesses can no longer rely on face2face meetings they have to be online not just for now but also in the future. We are bringing together some of the UK’s brightest businesses online to help them connect not just locally, but regionally and nationally. Our online events encourage greater connections where businesses cannot attend a face to face event.

Each event has the opportunity for businesses to share a 45 seconds introduction on what they do and who they are looking to connect to. Our 45-second pitches only happen online. We encourage members and visitors to connect online straight after the online meeting for 121 via zoom. Each meeting has a 10-minute speaker who will share their industry knowledge. Attendees are asked to send in a selfie of their event so it can be shared online via Linkedin to promote their business and the event. The BGN team will help facilitate 121 meetings for visitors who do not get the delegate list of attendees. Now is the time to get online and grow your business and stay alive.

Event Schedule

    • 10.00 – 10.05 Welcome and Introduction by Event Partner
    • 10.05 – 10.35 Forty-Five Second Introduction Round 
    • 10.35 – 10.40 Grab Fresh Brew (Chance for you to identify who you wish to have a 121 meeting via google chat straight after the meeting)
    • 10.40 – 10.50 10 Minute Guest Member Speaker
    • 10.55 – 11.00 Event Partner to help facilitate 121’s by asking each person who they would like to speak to before ending the call. (Members will receive delegates straight after the event to set up their 121’s. Event Partners will facilitate visitor introductions).

Each event attracts up to 25 online members and guests. Priority is given to our members as well as new faces. We will always prioritise inviting new businesses to attend events by reserving a number of spaces for first time visitors. Once booked you will be sent an invitation to join the meeting via zoom. We offer both a ‘Pay As You Go’ service and a monthly fixed charge allowing members to attend unlimited online meetings. To find out more CLICK HERE
